Evening Worship
Sundays 7:00pm - 8:00pm at Church
This worship gathering is designed for intentionally
informal worship. We have designed this gathering to be participatory in every element. We usually sing favorites from the congregation, or contemporary songs. The Scripture time is conversational rather than listening.
Right now, we are studying Colossians. There are many letters sent by Paul, the apostle, to various churches in the first century A.D. But there are only two written to churches he had never gone to. They are Romans and Colossians. What evidence we find from the letter to the church of Colossae points to that church having begun from another church that Paul planted and then having sent a team from the local church to Colossae to plant that church. What we see then, is Paul writing to the plant of a plant he began. It is a second generation church but it is wrestling with many of the issues the other churches were facing in the time. In fact, we are facing today many of the same issues. Join us for our study of Colossians: Life in Christ.
