How We Cultivate Faith

God tells us that "faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of Christ" (Romans 10:17). How do we cultivate faith? How CAN we cultivate faith? God has told us that His Word is the means to that end. And so in our ministries, we read, proclaim, and discuss the Word of God: the Bible. Maybe this seems old-fashioned to some, but for those who have turned to some other avenue... are those people actually growing closer to God? I don't think so. This vision for spiritual growth does not mean the people just listen to the speaker, on the contrary in all of our ministry gatherings we have interaction. We share our struggles and bring God's Word to bear light on our experiences. We ask our questions and we bring God's Word to speak humble truth into these concerns.
