What to Wear

- Sermons - Grace

Preached at the Sunday Morning service on August 1, 2010 by Pastor Ray Bertolet.
Part of the Grace series.

Watching children learn to dress themselves can become quite hilarious at times. Shirts are backwards, shoes wind up on the wrong feet, sometime things even go on upside down but despite all those moments we continue to help and teach them the proper way to dress themselves. This is true when is comes to applying grace to our lives and lives of those around us. Sometimes, we extend grace to all without any sense of helping a person grow at other times we get tired of granting grace to others without some sign that progress is being made. Last week we introduce our vision for Camden.

The Bible Fellowship Church of Camden will seek to be a spiritual hospital. We will provide a safe environment for spiritual healing and growth. We will encourage and train individuals to provide spiritual care for themselves and to others.

  1. Sandra Workman says:

Pastor Ray – Harry and I just listened to your message. Again, very soul searching and thought provoking. I think of the Scripture passage that says “Examine yourself and see if your in the faith”. This is a daily walk – keep on being filled with the Spirit – confessing sin and renewing right fellowship with the Lord. Good exhortation! Blessings, H&S

  2. Donna Coverdale says:

God wants us to Himself, with no idols before Him. This message helps us to realize how easy it is to become distracted from the things of the Lord in our daily lives.
