Focused on Growth

- Sermons - Tremendously Humble, Immensely Joyful

Preached at the Sunday Morning service on October 29, 2006 by Pastor Tim Schmoyer.
Part of the Tremendously Humble, Immensely Joyful series.

Many Christians believe that getting saved is then end-all-be-all of the Christian life. However, being born again is just like being born naturally. It is the beginning of a new life... a life filled with growth. All to often, even though we agree with this in theory, we live a life that is unfocused... a life that is too busy to expend enegry in spiritual development. Let's focus on growth!

  1. Sandra Workman says:

Pastor Ray – Harry and I just listened to your message. Again, very soul searching and thought provoking. I think of the Scripture passage that says “Examine yourself and see if your in the faith”. This is a daily walk – keep on being filled with the Spirit – confessing sin and renewing right fellowship with the Lord. Good exhortation! Blessings, H&S

  2. Donna Coverdale says:

God wants us to Himself, with no idols before Him. This message helps us to realize how easy it is to become distracted from the things of the Lord in our daily lives.
