Godly Contentment

- Sermons - Tremendously Humble, Immensely Joyful

Preached at the Sunday Morning service on November 26, 2006 by Pastor Tim Schmoyer.
Part of the Tremendously Humble, Immensely Joyful series.

Con-WHAT?!?! We don't often hear the word contentment in this culture. Today, we talk about a deeply satisfying and fulfilling virtue called contentment. To be content means to be happy no matter the circumstance. As Christians, we have God and He has set us free from the condemnation we deserved. So regardless of our changing situations, His eternal peace should satify all our deepest longings. Let's talk about being content together!

  1. Sandra Workman says:

Pastor Ray – Harry and I just listened to your message. Again, very soul searching and thought provoking. I think of the Scripture passage that says “Examine yourself and see if your in the faith”. This is a daily walk – keep on being filled with the Spirit – confessing sin and renewing right fellowship with the Lord. Good exhortation! Blessings, H&S

  2. Donna Coverdale says:
